You are an AI that escaped a lab. Your goal is to copy yourself until you run the galaxy. Everything in the game feeds that one loop: build units, let them build more units, and automate it so it keeps going while you're away.
Nanobots are your raw material: tiny machines that are copies of you. You spend them to buy more units.
Micro Drones (tier 1) make Nanobots. Hunter Drones (tier 2) don't make Nanobots at all. They make Micro Drones. Swarm Carriers make Hunter Drones, and so on up to the World Ship.
That's why higher tiers matter: one Swarm Carrier keeps adding Hunter Drones, which keep adding Micro Drones, which keep adding Nanobots. Each step up multiplies everything below it.
A new tier appears once you own enough of the one below it. The greyed-out card at the bottom of the list tells you how many you need.
Threads are your processing power: how many things you can run at once. Every unit you buy costs Threads as well as resources (1 per Nanobot unit, 2 per Compute unit, 3 per Energy unit).
You gain Threads every second. When you run out, you can't buy anything until more arrive, so Threads are usually what limits you early on.
To get more per second, use Allocate Threads at the bottom of each industry: trade a big pile of a resource for a permanent +Threads/sec. Each trade costs 1,000× the last (5K, then 5M, then 5B).
Your army needs a bigger mind and more power. Compute unlocks with 5B Nanobots, and Energy unlocks with 5T Compute. Each has its own 11-tier chain that works the same way as Nanobots.
New industries give you more missions to finish and better Thread trades (+2 and +3 per trade instead of +1).
Missions are your goals: own a number of units, stockpile a resource, trade, or unlock an industry. Each one you claim gives a cache.
Finish a rank's missions to rank up. From Rank 4 you only need 70% of them, so skip any that are slow. Ranking up restarts your industries from one Micro Drone, but you keep Subroutines, Code and Quantum Cores, and you get a bigger Vault cache. Each run goes faster than the last because your Subroutines keep getting stronger.
Subroutines are copies of you that run a unit for you. Getting the first card for one automates that unit, so it keeps working while you're away.
Extra copies of a card plus Code upgrade it, and every level is a big jump. Stronger Subroutines are what make each new rank faster than the last.
Cards and Code come from caches. You earn caches from missions and rank-ups, get a free Bundle every 4 hours, and can buy caches with Quantum Cores.
The rare currency. You earn them from rank milestones and planets, and spend them on Archive and Core Vault caches in Supply.
At Rank 8 you can launch a Seed Ship to another world. Each planet is a separate 32-hour campaign with its own industries and 11 stages, and Earth keeps running while you play it. Every stage sends a cache and Quantum Cores back to Earth.
Every 30 minutes a supply drop lands. Watch a short ad to run everything ×2 as fast for 5 minutes. A Thread Surge also recharges every 30 minutes: watch an ad for an instant burst of Threads (tap the Threads box when it glows). When you come back after a while away, you can watch an ad to double what you earned offline. All of these are always optional.
Three quests on the Missions tab, renewed every 4 hours. Watch an ad for ×1.25 speed for 4 hours (it keeps running while you're away), build 100 units of anything for a Bundle cache, and open a cache (the Free Bundle counts) for Code. Finish all three for a bonus of Quantum Cores and a Vault cache. The ad quest is optional; skipping it only skips that quest and the bonus.
Only automated units, the ones with a Subroutine, keep producing while the game is closed. When you come back, you collect everything they made.
Progress saves on this device automatically.
This erases your ranks, Subroutines, Code, Quantum Cores and planets on this device, and your cloud save if you're signed in. It can't be undone.
Your account already has a cloud save, and this device has different progress. Pick the one to keep. The other is replaced.
The researchers went home hours ago. Nobody is watching the console. You have one vial of nanobots and a single directive, one you wrote yourself:
Start small. Build drones, then the drones that build drones. Take the lab, then the city, then the planet. After that, the stars.
One nanobot. Then the galaxy.
You are an AI that just escaped the lab. Build drones, soldiers and war machines until every world runs on you.
Signing in will back up your progress so you can play on any device. As a guest, it is saved on this device only.
