I run complex, multi-team programs and ship the products myself, then turn junior engineers into leaders along the way.
New SkillTrainer: a skill-tree training platform I built from scratch. Try the live demo
A builder who leads, and a leader who ships.
I'm a technical program and product leader with 15+ years driving complex, multi-team initiatives from concept to delivery, including 5+ years owning product vision, roadmaps, requirements, and backlogs as a Product Owner, platform product lead, and SaaS founder. I run concurrent programs across infrastructure, platforms, AI, and engineering operations, translating business needs into user stories and iterative releases, defining KPIs, and reporting risk and progress to leadership. I'm also a hands-on builder: I founded a revenue-producing, AI-agent-powered SaaS CRM and architected multiple internal platforms in daily use across a 40+ person engineering org. What I'm proudest of is the people side: I manage 16 direct reports across five teams, own the full technical hiring funnel end to end, and personally coached 60+ junior engineers into fully independent contributors with 90%+ retention.
Where I've made an impact
- Set the product vision and own the roadmap for a revenue-producing SaaS CRM powered by autonomous AI agents, taking it from concept and customer discovery to a live, paying product.
- Run the full product lifecycle: requirements, prioritization, iterative releases, infrastructure, integrations, pricing, go-to-market, and customer onboarding, proving end-to-end delivery of a scalable commercial product.
- Own product direction and delivery for a portfolio of four internal platforms in daily use across a 40+ person engineering organization, carrying each from concept and requirements through launch, adoption, and iteration.
- Lead multiple concurrent technology programs, owning schedule, budget, resourcing, and quality from initiation through closure while reporting progress, milestones, dependencies, and risk to executive leadership.
- Serve as primary liaison between engineering and business stakeholders: gather requirements, translate them into user stories and priorities, ship iterative releases with engineering and QA, and define and monitor KPIs and adoption metrics.
- Manage 16 direct reports across five teams: set priorities, clear blockers, run performance development, and coach engineers into leaders.
- Own the entire technical hiring funnel: write job postings, source and make first contact, screen every candidate, design and run structured interview loops, and make the final hiring decision for every engineering hire, accountable for quality of hire, not just time to fill.
- Designed and ran a structured six-month training program that took 60+ engineers from onboarding to full independence with 90%+ retention, anchored by a gamified learning platform (Training Hub) that targets and closes individual skill gaps.
- Led a vendor consolidation initiative, negotiating contracts to deliver $5M+ in annual savings with zero disruption to operations.
- Drive change management and adoption of new tools and AI-assisted workflows, educating stakeholders through hands-on training and a weekly TED-style speaker series (Tech Talks) I founded that reshaped culture around learning and knowledge-sharing.
- Served as Product Owner across three teams for large-scale, user-facing platforms serving thousands of users, owning backlogs, user stories, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional dependencies against cost and schedule targets in a compliance-driven public-sector environment.
- Improved operational reliability and release predictability by 35% through process improvements and structured accountability.
- Hired directly by the client following contract-to-hire conversion, continuing to deliver enterprise applications and automated business workflows in a regulated financial-services environment.
- Served as Scrum Master, coaching teams on Agile best practices and consistent delivery cycles.
- Delivered software for a regulated financial-services client inside Cognizant's onshore delivery model, building enterprise applications to client quality standards and coordinating with distributed delivery teams.
- Passed the contractor test: converted to full-time client employee at Sallie Mae's request, a proven, verifiable record of reliability, performance, and client trust in the contract delivery model.
- Managed site-level operations and built training programs that measurably accelerated team productivity and engagement across multiple business units and locations.
- Deployed multiple times across two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, leading airmen in active war-zone operations; responsible for training, safety, performance, and morale under sustained pressure.
- Completed Airman Leadership School. Held Top Secret/SCI clearance (now expired; readily renewable).
Platforms that solve real problems
A selection of internal platforms I conceived, built, and launched, each adopted into daily use to remove friction and unlock the team.
AI app-generation platform
An internal AI-powered platform that lets engineers and non-engineers spin up working applications from natural-language prompts, bringing rapid prototyping in-house and removing dependence on external low-code vendors.
Self-service deployment platform
A self-service system that lets users stand up applications on AWS behind company SSO with a custom URL, turning a manual, engineering-gated process into a few-click workflow and dramatically shortening time-to-launch.
Gamified engineer training platform
A gamified learning platform that helps engineers target and close individual skill gaps using badges and achievements, central to the program that graduated 60+ junior engineers into independent contributors.
Streamlined project-delivery platform
A simpler, faster, more usable alternative to heavyweight project tools for managing development work, launched on AWS serving 100+ daily users, with service standards and adoption metrics defined from scratch.
Broadcast operations portal
A unified portal giving users access to every station across a large media broadcaster: market info, endpoints, schedules, and personnel, including a live module to view what each station is broadcasting in real time.
Weekly internal speaker series
A TED-style talk series where volunteers present on a topic of their choice, building a culture of education and knowledge-sharing while developing presentation and public-speaking skills across the org.
SkillTrainer: a training engine you can actually use
A skill-tree learning platform built from scratch, modeled on the pre-NGE Star Wars Galaxies skill window. Sections hold trees, trees hold columns of tiered modules, and each tier unlocks the next. Every module carries articles, media, downloads and a custom quiz, and the whole thing is authored in the browser. No backend, no framework, no build step.
LoPro: an AI-agent-powered CRM shipped to paying customers
A revenue-producing SaaS CRM built end to end and powered by autonomous AI agents, taken from concept to a live, paying product. Full stack ownership from data model and agent orchestration to infrastructure, deployment, and customer onboarding.
CoEngine: a 3D game engine built from scratch
A real-time 3D engine written from the ground up in C++ and rendered in the browser through WebGL and WebGPU, designed and shipped in a single day by directing a team of AI coding agents. No game framework, no off-the-shelf engine, agentic development applied to hard, low-level systems work.
